Brand protection
Authorisation is not a concession. It is the tool.
Protection on a marketplace is not a matter of goodwill but of tools. Almost every one of them requires a list of authorised sellers.
Why nothing works without an authorised seller
Brand Registry, brand gating, Transparency, removing third-party offers: each of these rests on the question of who is allowed to sell. Without that list you can act against nobody: not against grey-market goods, not against price breakers, not against counterfeits.
Many manufacturers turn marketplace sellers away in order to keep control. The result is the opposite: as long as the goods spread through a diffuse wholesale chain, there is nobody to authorise, and therefore nobody who could be excluded. One or two sellers authorised in writing give you the right to close the brand to everyone else.
Price
We agree a minimum price with you in writing and hold it, even when others undercut it and we lose the Buy Box as a result. Whoever undercuts appears by name in your monthly report. In our experience these are often your own dealers; knowing that is uncomfortable and useful at once.
We also measure the price range of every product page over 90 days. Some spread is normal on a marketplace; beyond 40 per cent it is worth looking at the seller behind it.
Sellers
We continuously record who appears on your product pages, who holds the Buy Box and how much of it Amazon Retail takes itself. The same data shows whether your brand hangs on many dealers or on a single one. That is a risk indicator: if if that one drops out, the marketplace revenue goes with them.
Content
Third-party images, wrong variations, missing EANs and duplicate pages cost you revenue and damage how your brand looks. We clean that up and work to your brand book. New content goes to you before publication.
What only you can do, and where we prepare the ground
Removing third-party offers, gating a brand, introducing Transparency: the applicant is always the brand owner. We do not promise you powers we do not have. What we do is the groundwork: gathering evidence, documenting cases, watching deadlines and accompanying the process.
The same applies to European product law: GPSR details, the EU responsible person, conformity documents and category requirements belong on the product page before Amazon asks for them.
